Girlgaze Social

BRIEF:

Girlgaze started out with a hashtag on instagram, #girlgaze, and the social media platform continues to be an important space for the brand to connect with the larger Girlgaze community.

CONCEPT:

Working together with Girlgaze’s Director of Social I led the design direction of all non-photography based content on the social platform from continuing Instagram Stories series to roundups for holidays, and event promotions. Below is a small selection of the social content I worked on while at Girlgaze.

#GENERATIONPAID

Working closely with the social team, I created a series of content around the idea of “#GenerationPaid” in promotion of the upcoming Girlgaze Platform launch (MVP platform slated for launch in Fall 2019). Mirroring the playful design and attitude of the platform itself, this social campaign highlights the Girlgaze mission of getting paid jobs for female-identifying and non-binary creatives.

THANK GODDESS

Thank Goddess is a weekly vertical on instagram stories and newsletter that shines the spotlight on female and female-identifying creatives that the Girlgaze team finds inspiring and worth sharing with the community.

MONTHLY FOCUSES

 

Each month the Girlgaze social team focuses on a specific theme, often tying into larger cultural focuses for that month that are important to the Girlgaze community. Image curation on the feed highlights the theme at hand and supporting social assets such as instagram stories, surveys, and stickers are created (pictured above is some of the content I created in support of the focus on Mental Health Awareness Month).
